your archaic beliefs, which are: that ALL life on this planet is for MAN to
exploit and enslave (dont forget, it was those lowly NONWHITES and NONMALES
just a few generations ago). So OF COURSE you must find it so SILLY! that
once again another earthly member is being thoughfully protected. Yes, we
animal rights activists are entertained that there are people like you to
keep us on track. And I'm not in the least surprised there would be people
like you out there, afterall theres still a going-strong KKK!! (Are you a
member of that?) The KKK's gotta be sure to keep all the blacks on their
toes!  Male whites are still fighting strong to remain SUPREME! And let me
tell you that I am ABSOLUTELY positive the leaders of your "peta" group are
male - no surprises there.
By the way, I am currently reading the HOT ZONE! Well there, weve got
something in common. We both like scary true-story stuff. But funny thing, as
I was reading it, instead of worrying about the poor humans I realize that
really, if you look at it in a big picture sorta way, Ebola may just be
Earth's anti-virus. There are almost 6  BILLION of us here and that figure is
rising at an astronomical rate-doesnt that make you think about US as the
killer virus?! after all, we're wiping out ALL other species, not just a
measley few. And silly you, you didnt get a really important point of the
book: what caused the outbreak of this virus in the FIRST PLACE?? COULD IT
HAVE BEEN OUR INSATIABLE APPETITE FOR USING ANIMALS IN SCIENTIFIC REASEARCH??
Sorry if youre getting bothered by my opinions. Actually, if I met you on the
street I would be very polite and we just may like each other. My family back
in Montana are ranchers and hunters. It is your/there beliefs and that may
never be changeable. But what you are hurting is all the other creatures on
this planet who, so be it, aren't as intelligent as us. But what about the
severely mentally retarded? Research glady chooses and kidnaps a healthy
intelligent chimpanzee with 99% of our same DNA over a severely retarded
person (In no way would I condone torturing one of these persons, even though
it was legally done just decades ago!!). And do you know that they have pain
receptors built just like us? They have evolved from the same exact origins
as us and this prooves it. And that, in fact, they probably feel even MORE
pain and anxiety when being tortured? Read up on it if youre at all curious.
I believed the same speciest things as you until I really STUDIED THE FACTS.
The fact is, all societies have teased the radicals of their times - Tiho
Brache, Galileo, LIncoln, and so on. PETA (the real one:)) quite possibly
will be just another advancement of human kind. And it may happen that your
great grand kids may think you were a bit cruel.

non-humans a bit more respectfully, and get a real life making life for
others better and not worse.
